Easy Patriotic Salad for July 4th

Easy patriotic salad for July 4th creates a table filled with vibrant red, white, and blue dishes, and this Patriotic Berry and Feta Salad is a show-stopping centerpiece. It perfectly captures the spirit of Independence Day. Designed to resemble the American flag, this festive salad combines fresh strawberries, creamy feta cheese, and juicy blueberries in a presentation that is as beautiful as it is delicious.

The salad begins with a bed of crisp mixed greens. Greens such as baby spinach, spring mix, or arugula, which provide a fresh and slightly peppery foundation. The “stripes” of the flag are created by alternating rows of sliced strawberries and crumbled feta cheese. The bright red strawberries offer natural sweetness and vibrant color. The feta provides a refreshing contrast that balances the fruit perfectly. Together, they create a striking visual effect reminiscent of the red and white stripes of the American flag.

In one corner of the platter, a generous section of fresh blueberries forms the “blue field” of the flag. Unlike many decorative flag-themed recipes that rely on artificial elements, this salad uses only fresh ingredients to achieve its patriotic appearance. The deep blue berries not only complete the visual design but also add bursts of juicy sweetness with every bite.

It helps keep the ingredients fresh and vibrant.
