Notes
Mississippi Pot Roast is best served shredded and mixed with its rich, buttery sauce. It pairs perfectly with:
- Mashed potatoes – allowing the creamy potatoes to soak up all the flavorful juices.
- Egg noodles – for a comforting, hearty meal.
- Rice or cauliflower rice – for a gluten-free or lighter option.
- Roasted or steamed vegetables – such as carrots, green beans, or Brussels sprouts to balance the richness.
- Toasted hoagie rolls – for a delicious sandwich with melted cheese.
